IMODCO built offshore mooring systems, specializing in sluriform buoys. My tenure there was focused on their in-house accounting systems, which ran on a DEC PDP- 11/70 under RSTS/E. IMODCO merged with SBM and relocated to Houston, TX.
Designed a cross-reference generator for DIBOL source programs.
Designed and implemented a Mailing List system and a MIS for Budgets and Departmental Expenses.
Maintained in-house accounting systems, including Inventory, Accounts Payable, General Ledger.
Analyzed and documented in-house accounting systems written in DIBOL (a 3rd generation business-oriented programming language).
Documentation included Record Descriptions, Console Messages, Report Layouts, Procedure Flows, Program Narratives, Operator Instructions, Data Processing Controls and Procedures.
